Junior Professional Officer / Associate Expert Programs

Junior Professional Officer and Associate Expert programs (JPOs/AEs) are gateway programs, sponsored by member states, for young professionals from member states to work for International Organizations.  Therefore, in order for a U.S. citizen to apply to these programs, the U.S. Government must have a signed memorandum of understanding and funding to support the placement of a JPO/AE in that International Organization.  The U.S. Government has signed JPO/AEs memorandums of understanding with the International Organizations listed below.  Please visit their individual websites to learn more about the specific details for each organization’s program.  Since these programs are dependent on funding, positions are advertised on an ad-hoc basis.  Please subscribe to IO Careers job alerts to receive JPO/AE job announcements, and visit our website frequently for future postings.
