LANL Safeguards Technology Training Announcement: Fundamentals of Nondestructive Assay
|
|
|
LANL is holding an introductory course on NDA measurement techniques of
uranium and plutonium-bearing materials. This course is open to DOE
employees as well as contractors, foreign nationals, universities, and
members of the private industry. Individuals with little or no
scientific background are welcome to attend.
Date: October 30 - November 3, 2017
Fee: $3,800 if registered before Oct. 1, $4,200 after
Prerequisites:
- Understanding of high-school algebra
- An understanding of powers, roots, scientific notation,
exponentials, logarithms and ability to calculate on a standard
scientific calculator
