As an Information Technology (IT) Specialist (PLCYPLN) you will serve as the Information Technology Program Manager for Industrial Control Systems (ICS) support and provides oversight, leadership and guidance for Information Technology in support of Operational Technology (OT) related aspects of ICS Management functions of the Command, including subordinate Facilities Engineering Commands (FECS) at other locations in the NAVFAC area of responsibility (AOR). You will be responsible for strategic planning, advice and strategy on complicated system implementations and system management issues encompassing system documentation and information assurance.Occasional TravelPosition may require travel away from the normal duty station.YesRelocation expenses may be authorized in accordance with applicable travel regulations and available command funding.Must be registered for Selective Service, see Legal & Regulatory Guidance.Suitable for Federal employment as determined by background investigation.Selectee may be required to successfully complete a probationary period. You must obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.U.S. Citizenship required.·        Apply innovative technical principles, practices, and theories to resolve technical and administrative issues.·        Administer project resources while monitoring project activities and resources to mitigate risks.·        Analyze processes (e.g., planning, design, and implementation) of new and improved information systems to meet the business requirements of customers.·        Consult with customers to identify and specify requirements to develop overall function and systems requirements and specifications associated with the Industrial Control System (ICS) Information Assurance/Information Technology (IA/IT) portion of facilities projects that effect ICS components or capabilities.·        Conduct operational planning (e.g., strategic planning, capital planning and investment control, workforce planning, policy and standards development, resource management, knowledge management, auditing, and information security management) for Information Assurance/Information Technology (IA/IT) management.

The Selective Placement Factor is: Have experience providing managerial oversight of Industrial Control System (ICS) program plans and processes (e.g., Advance Metering Infrastructure (AMI), Dynamic Digital Controls (DDCs) and/or Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems).This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) and requires additional education, training and experience.  Applicants should meet the DAWIA Certification requirements for the Information Technology Career Field and be certified at Level III at the time of application.  If you possess DAWIA Certification, please indicate your Certification Level and Career Field information in your resume.
