The Job:
Under broad direction of the Director Human Resources & Operations, contribute independently to the corporate Human Resources function. Specific responsibilities/deliverables include the following:
  • Lead in the implementation of a comprehensive Human Resource Information System and will ensure that HR information is always up to date. This includes new hire introductions, HR manuals, common forms and other HR related communications;
  • Develop a solid communication process between headquarters and regional offices to understand and address HR challenges across locations; 
  • Establish a robust HR dash board to measure the HR services;
  • Develop a comprehensive annual staffing plan and manage the recruitment process this includes visibility of vacancies across the web, social media, print, etc.
  • Lead in the recruitment process including shortlisting, coordinating with the candidates, participating in selection panels and preparation of offers;
  • Oversee the employment contracting and renewal process across all locations ensuring compliance to established policies and procedures;
  • Manage/process staff performance management system;
  • Periodic review of compensation and benefits through external benchmarking so that total compensation is competitive to retain and attract competent talent;
  • Shortlist and implement appropriate job grading system. This includes grading new jobs/ role changes, etc;
  • Review and propose policy and process improvements;
  • Support process automation and continuous improvement efforts
  • Maintain e-filing systems, HR database related to all staff. Support reviews and audits
  • Design and develop periodic management reports and analysis.
The Person:
  • Masters in Human Resources Management with strong HR conceptual skills.
  • 10- 15 years’ experience with at least 5 years in the managerial role in implementing HR best practices.  Work experience multi-cultural/ multinational international organization will be an added advantage.
Competencies Required: 
  • Ability to conceptualize human resources practices and benchmark them against industry best practices;
  • Ability to analyze complex data, carry out and explain computations or to resolve complex problems;
  • Provides inputs into decisions making on complex problems;
  • Excellent written and oral English communication.
  • High level of diplomacy, tact and inter-personal skills;
  • Proficiency in e-filing and use of online HR database application;
  • Advanced skills in Windows Operating system, LAN, and Internet
Employment Conditions:
This is a staff position in the Scientist and Managerial Group (SMG) Cadre with an attractive and competitive salary and benefits package. The position is initially for three years, and extendable depending on performance of the incumbent.
