£24,000 gross per annum

HelpAge International helps older people claim their rights,
challenge discrimination and overcome poverty, so that they can lead dignified, secure, active and healthy lives. HelpAge East Asia Pacific Regional Office (EAPRO) has been working in the Philippines for over 26 years in partnership with active local organisation, Coalition of Services of the Elderly (COSE), since their establishment.

HelpAge is now looking for a Programme Officer, based in Philippines, to lead the development of management information systems, and be responsible for compiling programme reports and provide required information to clusters/OCHA. You will support the Philippines programme to ensure HelpAge fulfils its legal contractual obligations to the donors of the programme. The Programme Officer will support the Programme team to ensure integration into HelpAge procedures including annual plans, budgets and reporting. The Programme Officer will also build the capacity of the local counterpart in contract management, donor proposals and reports and programme support.

Strong candidates will have experience of producing donor funded reports and proposals. You will also need experience of budgeting and financial monitoring. Also essential will be strong communication and interpersonal skills and experience of summarising and presenting information.
