1. ACCOUNTANT
Principal duties will include:
Invoicing/ Accounts receivable management
Accounts payables management
Tax management
Payroll management
Bank reconciliation and cash book management
Accounts preparation and analysis
Any other duties relating to accounting function.
The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
Experience with E-Travel system (Mandatory)
At least CPA Part II (Section 4)
Basic computer skills including MS Office packages
Minimum 2years working experience in an IATA Travel Agency.
Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
A good team player
2. TRAVEL CONSULTANT
Principal duties will include:
Plan itineraries and give quotations for travel including date, time and any other relevant
information for clients on 24hour basis.
Plan and sell transportations, accommodations, insurance and other travel services
Cooperate with clients to determine their needs and advise them appropriate destination,
modes of transportations, travel dates, costs and accommodations
Provide relevant information, brochures and publications to travellers
Book transportation, make hotel reservations and collect payment/fees
Deal with occurring travel problems, complaints or refunds
Attend travel seminars to remain updated with tourism trends
Maintain client files
Meet profit and sales targets
Any other duties as assigned by the management.
The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
Diploma in Hospitality, Travel and Tourism field
Proven working experience as a travel consultant
Excellent knowledge of computer reservations systems and GDS systems
Knowledge in E-Travel system is an added advantage
Fluency in English; multilingualism is a plus
Strong sales skills and commercial awareness
Ability to interact, communicate and negotiate effectively
Sound knowledge of domestic and international travel trends
Personal travel experience will be considered an advantage
3. SALES & MARKETING EXECUTIVE
Promote Ideal Tours and Travel to existing and new corporate accounts and individual
clients.
Make sales calls with the objective of acquiring new and additional corporate
accounts/clients and cash business, including Holidays and Leisure
Maintain excellent relations with clients/customers and provide support and assistance
ensuring that all travel requirements are handled efficiently
Keep the Business Development Manager informed about competitors and market
trends/practices.
Maintain sales call records and good relations with all clients.
Keep Business Development Manager informed about customer feedback and any
complaints
Liaise with Business Development Manager in formulating strategies aimed at obtaining
specific high yield commercial accounts
Solicit travel business on cash basis from individual clients/accounts
Maintain and provide regular reports in prescribed formats.
Assists in reconciliation of accounts & collections in coordination with Finance
Department
Ensure sales target are met in coordination with other team members.
The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
Diploma in Sale & Marketing or Hospitality, Travel and Tourism field
Minimum 2 years Corporate Travel Sales experience with proven track record
Dynamic and aggressive person with ability to generate new business / sales
Excellent communication, customer relation skills
Fluency in English; multilingualism is a plus
Valid driving license is a plus
