Consultant - Radionuclide Data Quality Control

Closing: 17-Mar-2014 Background:The International Data Centre (IDC) Division is implementing its part of the Provisional Technical Secretariat (PTS) Quality Management System (QMS), including that for radionuclide data, processing, and review. The proper documentation (process descriptions, procedures, specifications, quality plans, reports, etc.) must be up-to-date and easily accessible. A consultant with a strong background in radionuclide measurement and analysis methods and in data quality control is required to assist with these activities.

Under the supervision of the Programme and Project Coordinator, International Data Centre Division, the Consultant will provide the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO) with the following services:
Ensure that the IDC radionuclide products meet and maintain specific standards of quality in all levels of data acquisition and product compilation, providing advice as necessary; Compile product and quality assurance reports as necessary; Draft or update procedures for maintaining the radionuclide products of the IDC; Contribute to discussions on radionuclide products and quality control matters; Perform other duties as assigned.
