The key objective of the assignment is to technically validate the existing project profiles and feasibility studies for the projects listed above (previous page). The purpose of the technical validation is to have an independent third party performing a compliance test against national and international standard requirements for this kind of projects, and for this stage of development, before the project goes to the next phase: feasibility studies and final designs (including procurement and contracting documents for construction of these investments).
Reporting to the Project Director (Team Leader), the Project Finance expert will focus on verifying the project finance schemes proposed in the different studies, making sure that all aspects of the project finance structuring at this stage (pre-feasibility studies and project profiles) are compliant with transactional requirements in the country and for the sector (including financial analysis, investment appraisal, economic evaluation and risk analysis).
