Manage all the data management, data quality and reporting for the web unit;
Provide quality quantitative advice to the team in assisting in strategic planning and decision-making;
establish and tracking key performance indicators and all metrics for the E-commerce group
Monitor and analyse site performances and customer segments;
Implement search engine optimisation (SEO) on UNICEF’s web properties to increase qualified organic search engine rankings
Making recommendations to help refine the overall web content strategy
Main Responsibilities
Define and create web analytics reports to identify improvements of UNICEF’s web products, content and engagement call-to-actions
Analyse qualitative and quantitative data from web analytics tools into actionable SEO strategy and plan
Provide regular analytical reporting showing audience and engagement metrics to measure growth against key performance indicators (KPIs) and support ongoing strategic planning;
Provide insight from data to make suggestions for the new renewal project concerning both the site experience and performance, new feature and content development, testing and campaign performance
Ensure the quality of data through regular data reviews and monitoring
Manage, prioritize, and respond to ad-hoc requests for web performance analysis from internal stakeholders and web project teams
Contributes to the digital strategy’s regularly metrics reporting
Analyze, document and evaluate analysis and site performance
Promote knowledge exchanges within UNICEF though trainings and developing guidelines on web analytics and SEO
Perform additional metrics benchmarking, competitive research, and site intercepts and audience surveys
Stay informed of changes in tracking mechanisms and SEO
Stay current on emerging web measurement tools, strategies and trends
Research and develop web analytics and SEO best practices to identify new opportunities and maximize results;
May be asked to work on weekends;
May be asked to travel;
Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Minimum Qualification
Advanced university degree in communication, marketing, public relations, economics, statistics, management, project management, information technology or other relevant field; or equivalent professional work experience, combined with a first university degree in a related discipline.
At least 5 years working experience in interactive digital media communication, interactive marketing or web metrics analysis
Expert in Google Analytics and/or other web analytics technologies and tools; web-savvy is an absolute requirement
Working experience with the management of reporting requirements and web analytics;
Knowledge of statistical analysis
Experience working with enterprise-level websites with localisation and multiple users and groups
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and presentation skills
Must have strong people skills and be a good diplomatic communicator
Must be very well organized and detail oriented
Experience with work in a non-profit organization a plus
Competencies
Has highest level communication skills, including engaging and informative formal public speaking.
Ability to analyze potentially conflicting numerical, verbal and other data from a number of sources to produce tightly written, compelling and accurate press materials.
