Provincial Coordination Associate BP REDD++

Under the supervision of the REDD+ Chief Operating Officer, the incumbent will focus on the following results:
• Provision of input to seek solutions or initiatives to resolve land based disputes;
• Analysis patterns of vulnerabilities that give rise to conflicts in the pioneer provinces for REDD+ across Indonesia;
• Drafted recommendations to address structural patterns and weaknesses that inhibit the resolution of conflicts;
• Active participation in refining laws and regulations with a view to easing the ability to overcome conflicts and disputes based on land issues;
• Develoment and negotiation of the agreements to overcome problems that give rise to or extend the time frame for land based conflicts;
• Leading small teams of a cross-disciplinary nature including members who are located in the respective area;
• Active participation on various Special Teams/Taskforces established by the Head of BP REDD+;
• Completion of other tasks related to REDD+ as directed by the Head of BP REDD+.
