RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
This
position will be responsible for planning, documenting, reviewing,
installing, and configuring new hardware, systems, and software for EW
Laboratory networks using Sun, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL equipment and
software. Position will manage local accounts, maintain IT inventory
and infrastructure, and maintain systems at the appropriate security
level to adhere to NAVAIR accreditation requirements.
MINIMUM TANGIBLE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Advanced Degree a plus
- Proven experience with UNIX and Windows System Administrator tasking
- Knowledge of network accreditation processes
Applicants selected for this position will require an active/interim
DoD Top Secret/secret clearance, background screening and the ability
to obtain a SCI. Applicants selected for a security clearance will be
subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility
requirement for access to classified information.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Expertise/experience using Oracle
- Current Operating System Certification and Security Certification
- Expertise/experience using Microsoft SQL and other current programming languages
