This position is located in the Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southeast, Capital Improvements Department. The Branch is responsible for the technical adequacy and quality of all Civil Engineering functions outlined under the Capital Improvements department, the management of the airfield pavement evaluation program and providing technical expertise for all Civil Engineering facilities including airfield pavements and physical security. Types of facilities typically include site development/layout/ grading, utilities and ground improvements, storm water management systems, water distribution, sanitary sewer collection systems and airfield pavements. The primary purpose of this position is the preparation and coordination of Civil Engineering drawings and specifications for the construction of Civil Engineering facilities as listed above. THIS IS AN EXPEDITED HIRING AUTHORITY ANNOUNCEMENT.
