HRIS Analyst

SCOPE OF WORK

The HRIS Analyst role is responsible for ensuring that the IRC leverages Workday in as optimal a way as possible.  This covers planning and support for key HR events; driving projects to extend the Workday footprint at the IRC, including cross-functional collaboration; end user training; ensuring a high level of data and process integrity in the IRC’s day to day use of Workday; and providing effective and efficient customer service to internal IRC Workday users both in the US and globally.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Work with HR functions to plan, prepare and implement Workday effort needed to manage key HR events such as Open Enrollment, Performance Review and Merit PlanningResearch Workday Community and other resources for opportunities to extend and optimize Workday usage at the IRCIdentify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency within the IRC’s current Workday usage, including cross-functional considerationsWork independently and with other HRIS team members on the implementation of projects to extend Workday functionality and on continuous improvement initiativesImplement processes to ensure data integrity, security and process controls are in place and are managed effectivelyEnhance the Workday reporting dashboards that are used by global and local management at all IRC levelsPerform bulk data loads to Workday using EIBs as neededTrain new users on Workday and administrative processing; this training includes all transactions for particular users, and report writingDevelop and/or update standard operating procedures, training materials and user acceptance testing activities as neededShare responsibility for managing HRIS service requests, account management and day-to-day issue resolutionCollaborate on the Workday upgrade testing process, including data entry testing, and help coordinates the testing of integrations with external parties

QUALIFICATIONS

4 plus years of experience in HRIS, preferably in Workday or PeopleSoftExperience in creating moderate to complex HRIS reports.Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access) (Excel ability to create macros, pivot tables, vlookups, analytical capabilities and work books)Demonstrated ability to work professionally and discreetly with extremely confidential informationExcellent analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting abilities;  with strong data analysis acumen , and focus on accuracy and attention to detailSelf-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team environmentExcellent customer service, communication (both written and verbal), and cross group collaboration skills requiredFlexibility in daily schedule, and ability to understand and react quickly to changing prioritiesStrong follow-through skills and ability to be the driving force behind the completion of multiple projectsExperience of working in a globally distributed environment a plusFrench language skills, a plusIRC leading the way from harm to home.
