Required Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar degree or equivalent experience,Employees in California must have a Bachelor's degree in the applicable field, or an applicable certification, equivalent certificate or any required license. Equivalent experience will not be considered.
Required Skills:
- Experience with MS Server and storage installation, configuration and maintenance and troubleshooting - Experience troubleshooting MS Windows based workstations - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Excellent customer service skills - Ability to multitask, and identify and prioritize work based upon customer needs and schedule - Ability to work independently and with a team
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with VmWare configuration and maintenance - Experience with MS Windows Server 2008 - Experience with IBM Servers - Prior leadership experience

Candidate will be responsible for administration and maintenance of customer's Windows based servers and applications. This support shall be provided during normal duty hours Monday through Friday, Eastern Standard Time (EST), excluding Federal holidays. Additionally, O&M support shall be provided on an occasional basis outside these hours, either arranged in advance or in support of critical incidents. Support shall include, but is not limited to these activities: . Share knowledge as needed to other team members, regardless of contractor or government status . Train IT staff to use the systems and tools as needed . Provide resolution of incidents and problems . Recommend and carry out projects under the guidance of the technical or government lead to improve performance of the applications, to bring systems and devices under management, improve processes and procedures, and perform routine application or hardware upgrades. Configuration and change activities are included in this activity. . Perform monitoring and reporting . Create specialized reports upon request . Configure alerts to meet needs . Perform routine maintenance including but not limited to: patching to operating system and applications, monitoring operating status of the applications and tools, provide reports, and coordinating with other teams both internal and external to the customer. Candidate will serve as the onsite operations lead reporting to the Program manager.
