US Citizens and eligible Non-Citizens within commuting area of Ansbach, GermanyThe FMWRC mission is to create and maintain "FIRST CHOICE" MWR products and services for America's Army, essential to a ready, self-reliant force.

MWR Central is an informational kiosk located in the Urlas Exchange Mall. We provide Family and MWR information, with a main focus on providing Value AddedTax (VAT) relief services and forms. Operations Assistants will provide friendly customer service, be knowledgeable about all MWR activities, handle cash and credit cards, and process and file VAT forms. The MWR Central staff also takes reservations for parties as well as operating parties held at the Von Steuben Community Center which can be scheduled by customers for weekends and in the evening.

Selectee must be willing to work nights, weekends and holidays. Location for employment will be at MWR Central in the Urlas mall as well as the Von Steuben Community Center on Bismark.

Work hours: Mon-Sat between 0930-1800. Weekend work includes operations at private parties as late as 0200am, and possible on holidays as requested by customers.

Direct Deposit is required.Social Security card is required.Citizenship eligible under country SOFA agreement.Assists management with the operation of facility in accordance with established procedures. Issues, receives and controls cash receipts and change funds; verifies cash count of funds turned in by cashiers. Determines cash shortage or overages.

Assures only authorized patrons utilize the facilities. Submits daily report of operations. Assists in setting up parties according to party plan. May assist bartenders in setting up bars and/or cashier?s bag. Completes Daily Activity Report. Completes fire safety checks and secures the facility.

May monitor inventories, place and receive food and beverage orders using Food track or similar software.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Work experience in the receipt, disbursement, inspection, deposit, safekeeping or other processing of cash items (cash items are currency, coins, checks, money orders and credit card receipts).

Skill in providing customer service.
Ability to communicate with others effectively.

Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.

Conditions of employment:

1. A one-year probationary period may be required.

2. Meet all qualification/eligibility requirements.

3.  Satisfactorily complete an employment verification check. 

4. Successfully complete all required background checks.

Credit may be given for appropriate unpaid experience or volunteer work.
