Internship in Working Conditions and Labour Protection

As an intern in working conditions and labour protection you could work at the benefit of various departments. You will be confronted to a wide range of issues relating to safety and health at work and the environment, HIV/AIDS and the world of work, international migration, and conditions of work and employment such as wages, working time, work-life balance and maternity protection.

A recent focus has been domestic workers, many of whom are migrant workers and are in special need of protection.

The broad profile of the Department means that it works in an interdisciplinary way and employs economists, social scientists, lawyers, statisticians, migration experts and OSH specialists to address the topics in an integrated manner.

You will therefore be exposed to different disciplinary perspectives, and - depending on your profile - contribute to research, micro-data analysis, the formulation and implementation of technical cooperation projects and day-to-day tasks such as organizing meetings and conferences.

Interns should expect to devote 10% to 20% of their time to administrative tasks
