Analyzes proposed changes of product design to
determine effect on overall product and system. Coordinates
modification records for management control. Establishes change orders
and prepares for change authorization and documentation by company and
subcontractor. Prepares reports of change effect on overall product.
Reviews and analyzes released engineering change data and coordinates
changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and
engineering data control activities. Ensures that customer requirements
are implemented and reviews change accounting activity to ensure
compliance with configuration management policies.

Systems is seeking junior to mid level Navy Validator who will be
responsible for assisting in ensuring that all Strategic Systems
Programs (SSP) networks and systems are in compliance with all
applicable Information Assurance Controls (IACs) per the Department of
the Navy (DON) DOD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation
Process (DIACAP).
There is no relocation assistance available
for this position. If relocation is necessary, the selected candidate
must be willing and able to relocate at their own expense.
- Requirements:

Must have the following education/skills/experience:
- Minimum
of a High School Diploma and at least eight years of related
professional work experience, including experience in Information

- Basic familiarity with IT and network technologies
- Must have or be able and willing to obtain a Cybersecurity
Workforce (CSWF) IAM level I certification within six months from date

The Validator will be responsible for tracking and maintaining the SSP Contractor SIPRNet Connection Process.
The
selected candidate will support the SSP Command Information Officer
(CIO) and serve as a member of the on-site SSP Certification and
Accreditation (C&A) team and will perform the following:
.
Provide guidance to SSP sponsors/PMs, PMOs, and their
developers/contractors concerning the DON DIACAP and SSP Contractor
SIPRNet Connection Process.
. Member of the Echelon II C&A
team. Become familiar with the system/site by reviewing the C&A
Plan; identify any administrative issues with the Validation Plan and
Procedures, POA&Ms, Scorecards, and Risk Assessments; assist SSP
Validators with executing test plans and validation procedures; review
the C&A implementation and test plans and provide feedback to insure
that the plan is acceptable to move to the next level of the approval
process.
. Assist the SSP Validators with conducting audits of
SSP accredited networks and systems and Contractor CCRI to ensure they
adhere to Navy C&A policies.
. Keep abreast and provide the CIO and SSP C&A team updated information on Navy C&A policies and procedures.
. Track and monitor approval expiration dates and initiates the process to renew ATOs/connectivity prior to expiration.
. Maintain documentation and templates on the SSP repositories.
. Maintain the SSP IA web page.
. Read, review, and reply to mail received from the SSP Information Assurance mailbox folder.
. eMASS administrator- create and edit eMASS accounts. Follow the progress of accounts and system.
