Health, Safety & Environment Specialist (Retainer)


Education
Master’s Degree or equivalent is required; preferably with a focus of Environmental Management, Health and Safety Management, Engineering, Natural Sciences or other relevant discipline. A Bachelor's Degree with a combination of additional years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a Masters degree.

Experience
A minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience (for incumbents holding Masters Degree) or 7 years of experience (for incumbents holding Bachelors Degree). The working experience should be in a similar role in HSE, of which 2 years includes exposure to developing countries. Experience working on construction projects or in the construction industry is a requirement.

Additional experience working in developing countries is an advantage. 

Management experience is considered an advantage. 

Professional Certification
Professional qualification in HSE, such as NEBOSH, Lead auditors and Environmental Assessor certificates are considered an asset.

Language        
Fluency in English is a requirement. Fluency in Arabic is highly desirable
